Is There A Fire Breathing Monster In Your Chimney?

The National Fire Protection Association recommends an annual evaluation of all chimneys, fireplaces and vents and cleaned as needed. Each year unsafe chimneys cause a significant number of injuries and deaths and account for more than $200 million in property losses. Our Chimney Sweep's evaluation is based on a thorough visual inspection of the interior and exterior of the structure. He will then inform you of any damage, deterioration or code violation. KEIL will then clean your entire system thoroughly. For the fireplace, this will include the chimney and firebox, the smoke shelf and the damper. We can also install rain caps with spark-arresting screens to keep out birds, squirrels and raccoons. These caps also prevent rain and snow from entering your chimney and can help prevent backdraft.
